Caregiver

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver in the New Ross, Indiana area to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether they are in a home health setting, nursing home, or memory care facility. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and well-being. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document patient care activities while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Assist with hospice care when necessary, ensuring comfort during end-of-life stages. Qualifications Previous experience in home health care or a similar caregiving role is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and memory care practices is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Strong observational skills to identify changes in patients' conditions promptly. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential. Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not required.
