Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Assist with mobility and lifting clients safely to prevent injury. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to healthcare professionals. Foster positive relationships with clients, promoting social interaction and engagement. Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Experience Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous. Background in nursing homes or home health settings is beneficial.
