The ideal candidates will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, whether in a group home setting or within the community. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Conduct vital sign checks and report any concerns to healthcare professionals. Offer direct support to clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Assist with heavy lifting and mobility needs, ensuring safe transfer techniques are used. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed. Skills Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable. Proficiency in meal preparation and understanding of dietary restrictions. Certification in CPR is preferred to ensure client safety during emergencies. Experience working in a group home setting is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
