Job Description

Since 2002, the organization has built a reputation for compassionate, personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each client, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other health conditions. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver for 12-hour shifts in Hayden, ID. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being for our clients. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering comprehensive support in a respectful and professional manner. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals promptly. Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines. Support clients with meal preparation, cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks. Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility support. Document care activities accurately in accordance with care plans and organizational policies. Experience Candidates should have prior experience working in assisted living facilities, home health care, or group homes. Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, and familiarity with HIPAA regulations are essential. A background in nursing home or hospice care is advantageous. Applicants should demonstrate strong patient observation skills, the ability to perform heavy lifting safely, and experience in developing or following personalized care plans. Prior exposure to working with seniors or individuals with autism or disabilities will be considered a plus for this role.

From $20.00 per hour
