Job Description
Part-time Caregiver in Atlanta We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-time Caregiver to provide quality care for elderly clients in the city of Atlanta. In this role, you will assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a caregiver, be able to work part-time hours, and have a genuine passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Administer medication reminders as needed
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and tidying up
- Communicate regularly with family members or healthcare professionals regarding client's condition
- Maintain accurate records of client's care and any changes in their health status
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver for elderly individuals
- Must be able to work part-time hours (20 hours per week)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with mobility if needed
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if needed for client transportation)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the
United States Preferred Qualifications:
- CNA or HHA certification is a plus
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus This position offers a competitive salary of $1500 per month, along with opportunities for growth within the company.
