Job Description

We are hiring immediately for full-time Caregivers!
Available Shift:
PM Caregiver shift is PM 2:00pm-10:00pm/3pm-11pm or NOC 11pm- 7pm Full-Time benefits offered : Competitive Wages Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance
Vacation:
Paid Time Off 401k with Match, after 1 year of service Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Caregiver provides care and supervision to residents. Caregiver must be responsible for the safety and well-being of residents. Caregiver maintains community policies and procedures for the overall protection of residents. Caregiver assists residents to prepare for the day, the evening, and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living). Caregiver will be trained on the Emergency Protocols and be ready to enact them in any given emergency. Communicate and follow-up with charting to stay in compliance with daily tasks. Attend training and mandatory in-services with the Care Team. Assist leads with any assignments or work requests. Report any suspicion or evidence of elder abuse, mistreatment or neglect. Assist in keeping residents' rooms, medication rooms', and common areas neat and clean. Any tasks assigned, as needed.
Caregiver Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the US. Able to speak, read and write in English. First-Aid certification is required. Must be able to successfully complete Basic Life Support certification and bloodborne-pathogens training within 30 days of hire. Experience with care and supervision for elders and seniors (6 months or more experience in health care preferred). Physical requirements include but are not limited to: able to lift up to 60 lbs., push/pull up to 40 lbs., carry up to 20 lbs., frequent standing and walking required Reliable transportation. Ability to follow basic instructions and carry out assignments independently. Ability to interface appropriately with other staff, residents, family members, visitors and outside contractors. Ability to work flexible hours including and not limited to: weekends, evenings, holidays, and/or events. Own a smart phone (for schedule updates and communication). Possess a means of reliable transportation. Valid California driver's license, good driving record with active auto insurance.
