Cargo Loading Specialist

is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cargo Loading Specialist to join our growing logistics operations team. The ideal candidate will assist with the safe handling, loading, unloading, and organization of freight while maintaining high standards of workplace safety and operational efficiency. This position plays an important role in ensuring shipments are prepared accurately and delivered on schedule in a fast-paced warehouse and transportation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload cargo from trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently Inspect shipments for damages, shortages, or inconsistencies before transport Organize freight according to delivery schedules and shipping instructions Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment when required Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transportation Maintain a clean and organized loading area Follow company safety procedures and warehouse regulations at all times Collaborate with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and drivers to ensure smooth logistics operations Assist with inventory checks and shipment documentation as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse, freight handling, or logistics experience is a plus Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Forklift certification is a plus but not required Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Pay:

$20.60 - $24.50 per hour
