Carpenter

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Carpenter to join our team at Reed's Home Solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general carpentry as well as basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and masonry work. This position is ideal for a well-rounded tradesperson who can take on a variety of tasks in both residential and small commercial projects. .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists end users with anomalies, issues, process questions, and general support for enterprise applications. Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and finish work Assist with minor electrical installations and repairs (e.g., outlets, fixtures) Support basic plumbing work such as pipe fittings, fixtures, and minor repairs Carry out light masonry tasks such as patching, block work, and concrete repairs Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications Ensure all work meets safety guidelines and complies with local building codes Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and coworkers Travel to and from local job sites reliably and on time Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS ON REQUIREMENTS

5-7 years of experience in a technology support organization across multiple functional roles or disciplines Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required) Proven carpentry experience (3+ years preferred) Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and masonry trades Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good physical condition and ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to take direction
