The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, particularly in fixture installation and restoration projects. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction estimating, along with the ability to work effectively on construction sites. As a Journeyperson Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and ensuring that projects are completed to specifications. Duties Assemble and install various structures and fixtures according to project specifications. Perform fixture installation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design plans. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide work processes. Engage in plastering tasks as required for finishing touches on projects. Contribute to restoration projects by applying carpentry skills to repair or enhance existing structures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Skills Proficiency in assembly techniques and carpentry methods. Strong knowledge of fixture installation processes. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety practices. Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate them into actionable tasks. Competence in construction estimating to assess project requirements effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
