Job Description
Must be competent with all aspects of carpentry, with the ability to perform all aspects of framing work in a proficient manner, along with the ability to do layout work and demonstrate the skills needed to complete finish work. Must be able to demonstrate your ability with a framing square and calculator and be able to cut basic rafters and stair stringers. Must be able to install door hardware including closures and panic bars. Must be able to work with others and encourage journeyman carpenters. At this level taking pride in your work becomes essential. Work would also include any other duties assigned by project superintendent or foreman. Wages based on experience.
We have various carpenter classifications from framing carpenters to finish carpenters Transportation to our job sites or at least to our Derby location if possible, you can ride in our trucks to the out-of-town projects.
We can also pick up individuals at some at some designated locations on the way to the projects We provide all power tools, hard hats, ear and eye protection.
You will need to provide carpenters tool pouch, tape, hammer and other various hand tools
Non sneaker appropriate work shoesboots required.
If you have had the OSHA 10 hour training that's a plus if not we will get you signed up. and
