Immediate Hiring For Carpenters In Mattawa!! Pay- 25-30$/h Job Overview This role involves installing tongue-and-groove wood paneling on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with precision and attention to detail. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and securing wood materials, ensuring tight joints and a smooth, finished look. The position requires working from plans, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with other trades to deliver high-quality finish carpentry in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Install tongue-and-groove wood paneling on various surfaces, maintaining high standards of accuracy and craftsmanship. Measure, mark, and cut materials to ensure proper fit and consistent alignment. Secure wood materials using appropriate tools and fastening methods, including nail guns. Ensure boards are aligned to create seamless joints while allowing proper spacing for expansion. Safely and effectively use hand and power tools such as saws, nail guns, and layout instruments. Interpret basic drawings, plans, or layout instructions to execute work efficiently. Coordinate with other trades on-site to meet project timelines and ensure smooth workflow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with safety guidelines and company standards. Inspect completed installations to ensure quality and make necessary adjustments. Assist with related construction tasks such as framing, rough carpentry, and coordination with drywall or concrete work as needed. Required Skills Hands-on carpentry experience, particularly in finish work and tongue-and-groove installation. Solid experience in construction, preferably within commercial settings. Strong attention to detail in measuring, cutting, and aligning materials. Proficiency with carpentry tools including saws, nail guns, and measuring equipment. Ability to read and follow basic plans or blueprints. Experience with rough carpentry and working alongside concrete and drywall installations. Ability to maintain productivity while adhering to safety and quality standards. Additional Qualifications Experience in finish carpentry within commercial or institutional projects. Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple trades on active job sites. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing site conditions.
