This Carpet Cleaning and Upholstery position offers more than just an hourly wage. Pay is based on experience and includes an hourly rate plus profit sharing on the jobs you work . That means you can earn more than a standard daily or hourly rate because you receive a share of the profit from completed jobs. The harder you work and the more successful the team is, the more opportunity you have to increase your earnings. Job Responsibilities Perform professional carpet, rug, upholstery, tile and grout, wood floor, and hard floor cleaning Operate carpet cleaning machines, extractors, buffers, and other specialized cleaning equipment Use eco-friendly cleaning methods and solutions whenever possible Inspect work areas before cleaning to identify stains, spots, damage, or areas needing special attention Apply cleaning solutions, stain removers, and protective treatments safely and correctly Perform floor care services such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing when needed Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction on every job Work with team members to complete jobs efficiently and professionally Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or property concerns as needed Qualifications 1 year experience required; training is provided Prior experience in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, floor care, janitorial work, or custodial services is a plus Must have a valid Connecticut driver's license Clean driving record required Must be reliable, professional, and willing to learn Strong attention to detail Ability to lift equipment and supplies safely Comfortable working in homes, businesses, and various indoor environments Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team Why Join MRCC?
