As a Case Manager and Child Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with youth and young children in foster care, providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive. You will also have dedicated time in the office, where you will utilize your exceptional organizational and case management skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. At first depending on work experience may start directly with the children and go into Case Management training as time goes on.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to youth and young children in foster care, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Develop and implement individualized care plans, tailored to the unique needs of each client. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate services and resources for clients. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Advocate for the rights and well-being of clients, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met. Positive engagement in team meetings .

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field. Prefer previous experience working with youth and young children . Strong knowledge of child welfare policies and procedures and/ or a fast and dedicated learner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Uphold positive and ethical values and demonstrate a commitment to serving others. Must be hardworking and dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients. Have a flexible schedule with availability that would include some afternoons, evenings and at least one weekend day. Case management experience 4 year Bachelor's degree Over the age of 21 Valid drivers license Can pass background check and drug screening Willingness to work directly with foster children not only in an office setting Have a flexible schedule and be willing to work non office hours as management sees fit which would be for the benefit of the children and agency
