Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Access to his/her own vehicle. Valid driver's license, good driving and proof of insurance. Ability to travel frequently. Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to interactions with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with staff, clients, and other parties in an effective manner while maintaining professional boundaries. Strong decision-making abilities and self- motivated.
Education & Work Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Social Work, or related field 1 year experience and/or education relating to corrections, community based residential facilities (CBRF), criminal justice, human services, psychology, sociology, security, social service, mental health, behavioral health, or law enforcement preferred. 3 years' experience with correctional clients from diverse backgrounds; culturally competent Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
