Job Description

Woodfords Family Services is seeking a compassionate, skilled professional to join our Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) Program as a full-time Case Manager. This role is highly relational and supportive in nature, centering on building strong, healthy partnerships with foster families. To support this important work, Case Managers maintain a well-balanced and manageable caseload that allows for depth, quality, and connection. Position Summary Woodfords' Therapeutic Foster Care Program (TFC) provides treatment-level foster care for children and youth ages 3-21 with developmental and/or emotional disabilities who are unable to live with their biological families. With the support of trained foster parents and an interdisciplinary treatment team, children and teens receive guidance in navigating emotional, social, behavioral, and learning challenges—with the goal of family reunification and long-term life skill development. The Foster Care Case Manager provides oversight and support to foster families while coordinating treatment planning, conducting comprehensive assessments, and completing bi-weekly home visits. Case Managers play a key role in ensuring quality services, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting positive outcomes for children and families. Opportunity Details Full-time , 40 hours per week Monday-Friday schedule , with occasional evenings and on-call responsibilities Hybrid-eligible work schedule $48,000-$53,000 annually , commensurate with experience Qualifications Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or must be eligible to become licensed. State of Maine licensure required. Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field. Minimum of two years' experience in the field. Minimum of one year of professional experience working in the field of foster care/foster families. Possess a valid Driver's License and have use of a reliable, insured vehicle.
