Job Description

Hephzibah Children's Association is a child welfare agency in Oak Park, IL offering a variety of services including; Family Based Services, Foster Care and Intact services, a Residential Group Homes for young children, and after school and summer Day Care services. We are seeking a full time Foster Care Caseworker in the Family-Based Services Program to provide services for children and families in our foster care program. The Caseworker's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessing, planning and implementing recommended services, preparing written reports and service plans and testifying in Juvenile Court.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work required, Masters preferred or a related field required. Experience in a child welfare agency is preferred. Child Welfare License preferred. Must have a valid IL driver's license and good driving record Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies. Requires sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population. Hephzibah Children's Association is an equal opportunity employer.
