Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Cashier to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while providing excellent service to patients and customers. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Provide excellent patient and customer service, including greeting customers, answering phones, processing transactions, and serving as a helpful point of contact within the pharmacy Support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy by assisting with workflow needs and completing assigned duties accurately and efficiently Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff to help ensure daily tasks are completed and customers are assisted in a timely manner Follow all company, state, and federal policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Maintain pharmacy organization and cleanliness throughout the shift Balance independent responsibilities with tasks and direction provided by pharmacy leadership and the Pharmacist on Duty Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable interacting with customers and working as part of a team Basic computer skills and willingness to learn pharmacy systems Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Dependable with strong attention to detail 1-2 years of customer service or cashier experience Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required This position may require evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed.
