Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and securely Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits of merchandise Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision while adhering to cash handling procedures Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising efforts, ensuring the sales floor is inviting and organized Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store settings Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts Experience in grocery store environments or retail sales is highly desirable Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management processes Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately under pressure Effective sales skills with a focus on upselling and enhancing the customer experience Join our team as a Cashier where your enthusiasm fuels positive interactions!
