Cashier

Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier and become the friendly face that enhances every shopping experience! In this energetic role, you will handle customer transactions efficiently, provide exceptional service, and ensure the sales floor runs smoothly. You will be responsible for more to than just the register, you will be expected to clean and learn all aspects of how to handle the in and outside sales. This comes with expectations such as cleaning, stocking, and leading your co workers to success. Whether managing cash registers or supporting merchandising efforts, your positive attitude will be key to our success. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information with enthusiasm Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform basic math calculations with precision Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing products to enhance store presentation Conduct product demos when needed to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell complementary products or services to maximize sales opportunities Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Cleaning and stocking Learning ordering and all systems of the business which will be needed from you Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers in a bilingual setting is a plus Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures essential for accuracy and efficiency Supervising experience is advantageous for supporting team members and managing daily operations Ability to perform retail math confidently for cash handling and sales calculations Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, energetic approach Basic understanding of merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations is beneficial Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
