Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos when needed Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain organized checkout areas, stock shelves, and support merchandising efforts Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person Support stocking and inventory management tasks to ensure shelves are replenished and well-presented Requirements Prior experience with POS systems and cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in retail settings is a plus Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to grow your career in retail!
