Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about merchandise and store promotions Upsell products by suggesting additional items that meet customer needs to increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Manage stock levels by participating in inventory counts and replenishing merchandise as needed Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Previous supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory management Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are highly valued Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos in a grocery or retail store setting Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and promoting store promotions Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy retail environment while maintaining attention to detail Professional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone Join our team as a Cashier and be part of a dynamic environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
