Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales transactions with accuracy and speed Greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and assist with product demos when needed Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Assist with merchandising efforts, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to create an inviting shopping environment Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication channels Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team efforts Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during transactions Knowledge of grocery store operations, product placement, and merchandising best practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Join our team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences while developing your retail expertise!
