Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and serving counters. Follow food safety standards and food handling protocols to ensure quality and safety for all guests. Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including assembling food items and managing inventory levels. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive experience for every visitor. Experience Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation and serving techniques. Strong cash handling skills with knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell products and enhance customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety regulations, food industry standards, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash transactions, retail math understanding, and accurate register operation. Experience in a café or retail setting is advantageous, along with strong customer service capabilities to engage guests positively.
