Cashier for Swamp Water Cafe

The incumbent in this position is responsible for a variety of tasks at the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Swamp Water Café to ensure overall guest satisfaction. The incumbent operates the cash register, receives and disburses money. The individual greets the patron and may provides the restaurant menu; informs patron of daily specials; takes and serves food and beverage orders according to specifications courteously and efficiently; and assists patrons throughout their visit. The individual protects company assets by handling cash properly and recognizing loss through fraudulent returns, internal theft, and improper or unauthorized discounting. High School diploma or equivalent GED required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a server or in a related customer service position is required. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Possession of a Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
