Cashier / Sales Associate Babka Bakers is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier / Sales Associate to join our growing bakery team in Wallington, New Jersey. We are a family-owned bakery known for scratch-made breads, babkas, pastries, croissants, Polish-style donuts, and specialty baked goods. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming customer experience. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in retail, bakery, food service, cashiering, hospitality, or customer service. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide excellent customer service Operate cash register and process cash/card transactions accurately Assist customers with bakery selections and product recommendations Package breads, pastries, desserts, and baked goods professionally Restock displays and maintain clean, organized shelves Maintain cleanliness of front counter, dining area, and workstations Answer customer questions regarding products and ingredients Assist with opening and closing duties Support team members during busy rush periods Qualifications Previous cashier, retail, bakery, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred Friendly, professional, and positive attitude Strong communication and people skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced bakery environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable standing for extended periods Weekend availability preferred Preferred Experience Bakery experience Food service experience POS system experience Sales or upselling experience Coffee shop or café experience Why Join Babka Bakers?
