Cashier / Stocker

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Stocker, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring our store is well-stocked and organized. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming shopping environment for our customers. You'll be the friendly face at the checkout, handling transactions with accuracy and efficiency, while also managing stock levels to keep our shelves full and appealing. What you'll do Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed attractively and organized according to store standards. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items that enhance their shopping experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom to ensure a safe working environment. Handle cash transactions responsibly, adhering to cash handling policies and procedures. Basic qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in merchandising or stocking in a grocery store setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with phone etiquette for effective communication within the team and with customers. Flexible schedules available! We will work with you!
