2305 El Camino Real suite a, Palo Alto, CA 94306 Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/To-go Station Associate and be the friendly face that enhances our guests' experience! In this lively role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions efficiently, and ensuring our to-go orders are prepared accurately and promptly. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and appreciated. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting dedicated to guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests warmly as they approach the cashier or to-go station, creating a positive first impression Accurately process all transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring swift and correct payments Handle guest inquiries with clear communication and friendly phone etiquette, providing information about menu items and order status Prepare and package to-go orders efficiently, maintaining high standards of food presentation and quality control Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and to-go station to ensure a welcoming environment Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order accuracy and timely delivery of guest requests Uphold all hospitality standards by delivering excellent guest relations, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction at every touchpoint Qualifications Previous host/hostess or food service experience is preferred, demonstrating strong customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Chowbus or Clover is a plus Experience in hotel or hospitality environments enhances your ability to deliver guest-focused service Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that fosters guest relations Prior serving or guest services experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Join us in creating memorable experiences for every guest!
