Whether preparing delicious meals or managing transactions with precision, you'll be at the heart of creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and retail operations within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and attention to detail Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations through proper bussing and sanitation practices Assist in food handling, cooking, and basic food preparation tasks to ensure quality and freshness Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining food quality standards Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, retail math calculations, and cash handling accuracy Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly Experience in culinary tasks or kitchen environments is highly desirable Capable of multitasking between cashier duties and food preparation seamlessly This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in the food industry while providing memorable experiences for our guests.
