Cashier/Customer Service

Professional Cashier/Receptionist position is now available at World Hyundai Matteson. Days and some Saturday hours What we're looking for: You must have a friendly voice on the phone and have experience dealing with guests. We prefer some dealership experience but will train the right candidate. This position usually leads to something else in our dealership so it is a great place to start your career! Full-time position including some Saturday hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate switchboard telephone system Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries Prepare sales and service gas tickets for the accounting department Serve as a backup to the sales department cashier Assist the General Manager and Controller with various clerical duties as needed Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket. Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price. Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience using Microsoft Office suite Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously Background check required
