Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions, and maintaining a well-organized store. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and team members alike. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a neat shopping environment. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer experience and promote sales. Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is an advantage. Ability to demonstrate products effectively and engage customers in conversation about merchandise. Experience in supervising or training others is a plus.
