Cashier/Customer Service

Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with integrity Assist customers with product demos, answer questions about merchandise, and recommend items through upselling techniques Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the sales floor is inviting and well-stocked Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting product demos, and assisting with inventory counts Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support team members by supervising new staff or training new hires in cashiering and customer service procedures Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers and team members Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse customer base better Experience in supervising or mentoring others enhances team cohesion and service quality Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and stock management is advantageous Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude Familiarity with upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction This role offers an exciting chance to develop your retail expertise in a vibrant environment.
