Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness Engage customers in retail sales by suggesting complementary products and promoting ongoing promotions or specials Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and product demos to enhance presentation Experience Prior experience in retail sales or customer service roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Supervising experience is a plus, especially in leading small teams or training new staff Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts essential for success in this role Bilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve diverse customer bases Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail settings is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to perform basic math functions accurately for transactions and inventory tasks Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your skills in a lively retail environment!
