Whether handling transactions, assisting with product demos, or maintaining the sales floor, your role is vital in delivering outstanding retail service. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, including product information and recommendations Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-presented Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking products and conducting regular stock checks Support retail sales efforts through effective communication skills and engaging customer interactions Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members during busy shifts or training new staff Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and basic cash handling procedures is advantageous Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette will help foster positive customer relationships Experience conducting product demos or upselling can significantly boost sales performance Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising techniques, and stock management will support your success in this role Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive spirit makes a difference!
