Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming first impression and guiding them to their tables or areas of interest Manage guest check-ins and reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier station to ensure a professional appearance Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with friendly, clear communication, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Assist with seating arrangements during busy periods to optimize flow and reduce wait times Support food service staff by coordinating guest orders and ensuring smooth service flow when needed Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, especially in guest services or guest relations roles Ability to handle cash accurately while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings Professional phone etiquette and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
