Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and precision Assist customers with product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their purchase experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks Communicate effectively with team members and customers using professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for pricing and discounts Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is advantageous Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career in a lively environment.
