Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, including product demonstrations when applicable Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an inviting shopping environment Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to support store operations Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, store policies, and promotions Promote upselling opportunities by recommending additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Qualifications Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales preferred but not required; training provided Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership growth opportunities Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers both in-store and over the phone Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks Experience with grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
