Cashier/Sales Associate

Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to enhance their shopping experience Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and appealing Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and assisting with inventory replenishment Demonstrate professional phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting remote customers Support grocery store operations by adhering to safety standards and cleanliness protocols Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive environment for both staff and shoppers Skills Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities Ability to conduct product demos confidently and clearly communicate features and benefits Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members alike Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash register operations and inventory management Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments preferred Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining customer trust Basic merchandising skills to create attractive displays that boost sales Customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills while making a positive impact on our customers' shopping experience.
