Casting Exit Line Operator

Superior Aluminum Alloys Overview:

Perform various entry level tasks in our aluminum casting operation including material handling, quality inspection, product packaging and labeling, housekeeping and other tasks as needed to optimize production of Safe, Quality, Low-Cost Pounds.

Responsibilities:

100% engagement in "Take control of Safety" initiatives Operate material handling mobile equipment such as forklifts Prepare various aluminum products for shipment including proper packaging and labeling Inspect finished product for quality Complete other tasks with teammates as needed Understand and follow all safety rules to ensure safety for me, safety for my team and safety for all

Qualifications:

Self-motivation and strong work ethic Ability to work well and communicate with a team Reliable attendance working 12-hour shifts on rotating 4 on/4 off schedule Strong math and reading skills with ability to learn various production processes Previous manufacturing experience preferred Previous forklift or similar mobile equipment experience preferred Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
