Job Summary Join our team as a Castleton Pizza Assistant Manager, where you will lead daily operations in a fast-paced, energetic environment dedicated to delivering great pizza and customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your management expertise with your passion for food service, ensuring smooth kitchen and front-of-house functions. As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee staff training, maintain food quality standards, manage inventory, and support overall restaurant management to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and team members. Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service. Supervise and motivate team members, providing training and development to foster a positive work environment. Manage food preparation, ensuring menu items meet quality and safety standards. Oversee Toast POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels, monitor food supplies, and coordinate with vendors to prevent shortages or waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, overseeing kitchen and front-of-house activities, and resolving customer concerns promptly. Qualifications Experience in food service management or supervisory roles Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices. Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling experience is essential. Experience supervising staff and managing restaurant operations. Leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork. Knowledge of food safety, inventory control, budgeting, and production processes. Previous experience is desirable.

J Pay:

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
