Our reputable and growing client, known for providing exceptional claims service and tailored solutions to its policyholders, is currently seeking an experienced Casualty Claims Adjuster to join their team and handle a diverse portfolio of casualty claims. Qualifications:
3+ years of experience handling casualty or general liability claims. Strong knowledge of insurance policies, liability concepts, and claim handling procedures. Experience handling litigated and non-litigated claims preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in claims management systems and Microsoft Office. Adjuster license required in applicable states (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of general liability/casualty claims from inception through resolution. Conduct thorough investigations including obtaining statements, police reports, and other necessary documentation. Evaluate coverage and determine liability based on available evidence and policy language. Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, or other parties. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with internal and external reporting requirements. Collaborate with defense counsel, medical experts, and other professionals as needed. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, jurisdictional regulations, and company best practices. #LI-MW1 INDTJG-CTT
