Overview We are seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the preparation and service of catering orders, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional food service that delights our customers and upholds our reputation for quality. Duties Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation for catering events Support catering setup and breakdown, including arranging tables, linens, and serving stations Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering area, including bussing tables and clearing dishes Follow food safety protocols during handling, serving, and storage of food items Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed Provide excellent guest relations by addressing customer inquiries promptly and courteously Be able to go out and blitz in the community and surrounding areas. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper sanitation procedures Experience with catering, banquet service, or restaurant operations is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending Culinary or food service training is a plus but not required A proactive team player with excellent communication skills Join us as a Catering Assistant and be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering memorable dining experiences.
