The ideal candidate has experience preparing high-quality food in fast-paced from scratch kitchen environments and can execute large-volume catering orders with consistency and attention to detail. Located on the North Side of Chicago. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items for catered events and daily production Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines Assist with food prep, packaging, and event setup as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas Ensure all food is handled according to health and safety regulations Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs Work efficiently under deadlines and changing event schedules Qualifications Previous experience as a cook, prep cook, or catering cook preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings if needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
