Catering Manager
As Catering Manager, you'll be fully responsible for the day‑to‑day delivery of catering services, including patient meals, staff catering, ward pantries, and hospital-led events. You'll lead and motivate a large team, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer care are consistently delivered.
Key responsibilitiesFull operational management of catering services across kitchen and ward areasLeading, training, and motivating a large and diverse teamMaintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and Health & SafetyEnsuring patient, visitor, and client expectations are met at all timesManaging budgets, stock, and financial performanceIdentifying and implementing service improvementsAbout youQualified Chef (NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 & 2)Minimum 4 years' experience in a catering management roleStrong people management and leadership skillsExcellent communication and organisational skillsCommercially minded with good financial and IT skillsSolid understanding of EHO and Health & Safety standardsAbout UsAs part of Compass you\'ll help to feed people, fuel progress and forge connections in around 6,000 venues.
