Schedule 4 days per week 10-hour shifts Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care tailored to each patient, employing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation based on the nursing process. Perform both routine and complex cardiovascular procedures, monitoring and documenting patient histories, symptoms, medications, and treatment outcomes. Manage unit operations by making assignments and delegating appropriate care tasks to other healthcare providers. Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic response or side effects, following established protocols. Provide thorough patient and family education, addressing clinical, psychological, emotional, social, and cultural needs in a sensitive, professional manner. Participate in departmental competency validations and ongoing education, emphasizing continual professional growth. Desired Qualifications Current, valid RN license in Texas or compact state credentials. Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA-required). Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. At least two years of recent, hands-on electrophysiology (EP) experience required. One year of related nursing specialty or critical care experience is preferred; new graduates will also be considered. Commitment to complete all orientation, onboarding, and annual competency verifications as required.
