Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years' recent Cath Lab experience preferred BLS and ACLS certification (current) Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, EKG interpretation, and patient monitoring Ability to manage emergencies and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition Proficient with advanced equipment and sterile technique Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures Prepare rooms, equipment, and medications for cases Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures Monitor patients' cardiovascular status and document findings precisely Administer medications and manage IVs under protocol Maintain infection control and adhere to all hospital safety standards Provide clear education to patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions Accurately complete all electronic medical record documentation
