Cath Lab RN

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to provide expert care in a dynamic healthcare environment on a 13-week contract basis. In this crucial role, you will work closely with physicians and a dedicated clinical team to deliver high-quality nursing support during cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional treatments.

Schedule/Hours:

5x8 hour day shifts Required call: Monday-Friday from 2:30 PM-6:00 AM, and Saturday/Sunday from 6:00 AM-6:00 AM Call responsibilities include two weekdays per week and three weekends in each six-week period

Qualifications:

Active Ohio RN license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification At least one year of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred Strong critical thinking skills and ability to respond effectively in urgent situations Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Assist cardiologists and technologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Administer and monitor patient medications, IVs, and sedation as required Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedural details Participate in scheduled call rotations, responding promptly to urgent and emergent cases Ensure the sterile field and equipment are properly maintained
