Job Description
Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into an advanced Cath Lab environment, working side by side with a multidisciplinary team including Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon. This role offers the opportunity to support comprehensive cardiac and peripheral services, contributing directly to a variety of procedures such as Left and Right Heart Caths, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, carotid interventions, pacemaker insertions, kyphoplasty, and AV graft work.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour day shifts Rotating call responsibilities during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysQualifications & Desired Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist Proficiency operating Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and familiarity with x-ray equipment Experience with Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and a variety of coronary/peripheral atherectomy devices Knowledge of McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and Hemodynamic Systems Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team Strong organizational skills to assist with inventory management and procedural workflow Flexibility to rotate between scrubbing and circulating responsibilities Current certification and relevant state licensure requiredPrimary Responsibilities:
Assist with a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures Skillfully rotate between scrubbing and circulating, including safe operation of angiography and x-ray equipment Support patient care in pre- and post-procedure areas Transport patients and provide hands-on assistance throughout their visit Manage inventory and procedural supplies, helping to ensure seamless case flow Participate in call rotations to provide continuous departmental coverage Document and facilitate billing processes accurately This contract position places you at the forefront of high-impact patient care while advancing your technical skills in a dynamic setting.
