  • 5:30 PM Rotating Weekdays, Weekends & On-Call (Nights/Holidays) 40 Hours per Week Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for a 13-week contract assignment in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) environment.
The role involves supporting diagnostic, interventional, and EP cardiovascular procedures, working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced procedural setting. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures Perform scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and hemodynamic recording Operate cardiovascular imaging and interventional equipment Prepare sterile procedural trays, instruments, and cath lab setups Assist with contrast administration under physician direction Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures Maintain sterile field and follow strict radiation safety protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clinical monitoring throughout procedures Position and transfer patients on procedure tables and imaging systems Manage inventory and ensure procedural equipment readiness Perform cleaning, maintenance, and safety checks on cath lab equipment Support electrophysiology (EP) and complex cardiac interventions Maintain accurate procedural documentation and compliance records Requirements Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology OR equivalent + 3+ years Cath Lab experience Current BLS certification required Current ACLS certification required IABP certification/course required RCIS certification preferred (may be required depending on assignment) Strong communication skills (English) Ability to work in high-pressure, high-acuity procedural environments For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
