Monday-Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pmJob Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional CDL A Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting heavy equipment and supplies to contractors and customers, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and with exceptional service. As part of the Superior team, you'll be home every night with a predictable schedule and the opportunity to work with a supportive company that values your skills and contributions.Responsibilities:
Efficiently load and unload heavy equipment and supplies, using manual or forklift methods, ensuring safe transport for delivery to contractors and customers Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism, efficiency, and respect during all interactions Perform regular vehicle inspections, reporting any issues to ensure safe and reliable operation Complete delivery logs, inspection reports, and compliance-related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records Adhere to safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all DOT and company-specific safety guidelines Engage with customers during deliveries, addressing concerns, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction with products and services Plan delivery routes efficiently, considering traffic patterns and schedules, to ensure timely and safe deliveries Respond quickly and responsibly to road incidents or emergencies, following company protocols to ensure safety Work closely with dispatchers, yard staff, and other team members to coordinate deliveries, troubleshoot challenges, and maintain operational flow Utilize downtime to expand knowledge of products, services, and operational procedures, enhancing customer assistance and improving overall efficiency Assist with inventory management and organizing materials in the yard when not on a route Perform other duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the operationQualifications:
Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record Flatbed experience required Experience with a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett) or similar equipment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs DOT Medical Card required Full range of motion and physical dexterity Knowledge of DOT regulations, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Card About Superior Product Distributors, Inc.
