CDL Box Truck Driver

Overview we are looking for a reliable and motivated CDL Class B Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, safe driving record, and excellent customer services skills. Duties Safely operate a Class B box truck Load and unload deliveries as needed. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Drive delivery routes confidently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while maintaining a positive attitude. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on trucks when necessary. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and manage cargo loading or unloading as required, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatch to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for box trucks, flatbeds, or other specialized vehicles. Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery routes, or related roles with a focus on safety and efficiency. Familiarity with different types of trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, roll-offs, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of truck components and basic repair skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks daily. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Excellent organizational skills for load & unload procedures and route management.
